Sydney

Have you ever been somewhere and felt completely at home? Even if you had no ties or reasons for it too?

That is how I felt the first time I came to Sydney, Australia in 2017!

Fast forward three years and it has been my home for the last year and a half. I have had an amazing time discovering the best first-hand local spots from Surry Hills, Newtown, Bondi Beach, Darling Harbour and more!

Discover inside knowledge on incredible coastal walks, Sydney Opera House views, free things to do in Sydney, the best Sydney Happy hours, secret bars and BYO restaurants, here are my Go With Gabbs guides to Sydney.

Now I can share all my secrets so you can fall in love with my favourite city too.

Go With Gabbs to Sydney

Fallen in love with Sydney yet?

Yeah me too! Having sights like the Bondi Icebergs and the Coogee to Bondi walk right on my doorstep is something I am thankful for every day!

Believe it or not, but Sydney is where the birth of Go With Gabbs began in 2019. I have two years (hopefully more) in Australia and I have some things to tick off my list before I leave:

Hitting the Outback and seeing Uluru and Alice Springs waterholes. Camper van road tripping up the East Coast of Queensland visiting the likes of Fraser Island, sailing the Whitsundays and listening to the buskers in Byron Bay.

Waterfall and kangaroo chasing in Western Australia and meeting a croc or two down under in Northern Territories Darwin.

Quite a list and not enough time to be honest!
