CAMBODIA

When I decided to travel to South East Asia on a one-way ticket, I knew very little about Cambodia.

All I knew was I had a month to explore and that it would be the first time I would be fully on my own in a foreign country. Solo travel here we go! Honestly, I was sh*tting myself with no clue what to expect…

However, what I didn’t expect to happen was for me to fall in love with a country, its people and learn so much from its tragic history.

Have a little cry with me at the heartbreaking Khmer Rouge Cambodian Genocide with my visit to the  Tuol Sleng genocide museum and the killing fields in the capital of Cambodia, Phnom Penh.

Sunrise tuk-tuk with me to the incredible Angkor Wat in Siem Reap and Tomb Raider explore the temples of Angkor Thom, Ta Prohm & Bayom.

Learn to scooter ride in the Kampot National Park. All whilst stumbling across weird abandoned hotels and casino’s in the middle nowhere….(it really was as suspicious as it sounds).

Then, finally, Island hop with me to the Cambodian islands of Koh Rong for some paradise and puppy heaven fun.
